Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Taylor died in an attmept to rescue a 4 man SEAL reconnaissance team that was under attack from roughly 150 enemy fighters. Jeff was among the 16 sailors and soldiers who lost their lives when the MH-47 Chinook helicopter they were riding in was hit by a rocket propelled grenade and crashed on June 28, 2005. We remember and honor Jeff Taylor and his sacrifice through his dedicated Workout of the Day, “JT”.

    Quite the humbling wod. Tried to rx it, but HSPUs gave out in the round of 15. The rest were a mix of attempts and working on kipping. Rx on the ring dips (kipping) and pushups though!
